Runner Runner Real Honest Review

Movie Review 5/10

Richie Furst (Justin Timberlake), a Princeton management postgraduate UN agency promotes a web gambling web site on field, earning commissions to pay off his tuition. once the varsity clamps down on his activities and he loses all his savings on a final ditch all-or-none bet, Furst goes straight to the highest, flying to Republic of Costa Rica to hunt out Ivan Block (Ben Affleck), the kingpin of on-line gambling.

Block admires Furst's gambling acumen and hires him to be a trustworthy  runner for his business affairs, that slowly reveal themselves to be but on the amount. once government agent Agent Zbysko (Anthony Mackie) enters the scene along with his threats, Furst discovers he may need bitten off quite he might chew.

Justin Timberlake usually will well as Furst, wide-eyed and excited initially, troubled and vexed at the top. I likeable his scenes along with his father vie by John detected. I don't very expect a lot of from mount Affleck as AN actor, and once more here, he doesn't suffice. he's hardly presumptive as a villainous gambling lord UN agency might feed his enemies to crocodiles.

The beautiful reproductive structure Arterton is completely wasted here. She doesn't get to try and do a lot of, and she or he doesn't have any chemistry with any of the lads she is meant to be in liaisons with. Anthony Mackie plays the government agent too immoderate to be convincing.

The story was too acquainted to be exciting. the link of Justin and mount (and reproductive structure, for that matter) were too dry to be partaking. The gambling jargon was too laborious to follow to be fascinating. The ending is just too obvious to be well worth the time spent looking at.
